World Photo Day (“WPD”) respects your privacy, and the security of your information is of utmost importance to us. We will never give your information to a third party, except where required by law, or we have obtained the express written permission from you.
When you voluntarily register an account with us, we will collect personal information from you, which may include, but is not limited to, first and last name, display name, email address, your website address (URL) and password in order to allow you to login and upload your photography to the public gallery.
When you create an account with WPD, the information you provide us with the exception of your email address and contact details, will be visible to the public. If, after you register, you no longer wish to have your information publicly displayed, you may choose to have your account suspended or deleted. For legal, and legitimate business reasons, we may keep an archived copy of your details.
The photographic work you provide us can be used by WPD to promote the event via social media, or the WPD Photobook, and in both cases, your publicly visible information may be used to promote the work/s.
The social media websites (such as Twitter and Facebook) we use to promote WPD may have different privacy information concerning the information they collect when you are viewing our pages on these platforms.
