When you Sync your Camera’s Frame Rate to a Helicopter’s Rotor

German videographer, Chris Fay captured the video above showing what happens when your camera’s frame rate is synced to the rotation speed of a helicopter rotor. A simple trick that makes the helicopter appear like it’s floating magically in the air.

Fun fact: A helicopter’s blades rotates at a set RPM between 400 rpm to 600 rpm. The lift is determined by a change in the pitch of the blades.
